Other than performing concerts, Valerie is interested in building a wider community for classical music. She was part of the outreach programs, organize free concert series in a church, managing social media for classical musicians and create educational videos.
Valerie has been invited to perform in outreach programs such as Emerald Coast Music Alliance and Kansas City for All, and she also organized outreach concert series called Musicians' Journey. These outreach programs are created to serve communities who have less access to classical music, and it was one of the most memorable experiences in the journey of being a pianist.
Social Media Management
Valerie also has a side hobby to create interesting teaching videos taught by professional pianists and teachers, that will benefit the musicians that has less access to study abroad. The teaching videos are posted in Instagram, read more here.
