Other than performing concerts, Valerie is interested in building a wider community for classical music. She was part of the outreach programs, organize free concert series in a church, managing social media for classical musicians and create educational videos, and recently collaborating classical music and story-telling for adolescents.
Valerie has been invited to perform in outreach programs such as Emerald Coast Music Alliance and Kansas City for All, and she also organized outreach concert series called Musicians' Journey. These outreach programs are created to serve communities who have less access to classical music, and it was one of the most memorable experiences in the journey of being a pianist.
